The Fun Continues tomorrow…

I am putting the finishing touches on our sample Dorothea V2 still… I am using images from Michele Jones (http://www.picturethisbymj.com/) and can’t wait to showcase them!

 

For those who have ordered, we will be sending out emails tomorrow that outline the exact changes in version 2, what you need to be aware of before the upgrade, and ask if you would rather we overwrite the proofing or have us set up the site in a sub-folder so you can work on it from scratch and keep your proofing in tact. If you don’t receive this email by midday tomorrow please email info@portfoliositez.com so I can confirm whether an email was sent out. We will be working hard to get all upgrades and new setups complete by tomorrow night so everyone has them to work on for the weekend!

 

We were asked if there is a discount for the yearly costs, and there definitely is. Instead of $110/$160 each year will be $100/$150 . If you currently have a version 1 site of Dorothea the upgrade is not automatic. An order needs to be placed for the version 2 through our website, it will cost a one-time $20 fee. Your monthly/yearly price will not increase with all the new features.

In addition to the 3 contest below that end on Friday, we are starting our ‘ catching some z’s highlight on our blog. Our goal is to show z’s throughout the year shot by us, our families, and you. To get this feature off the ground right we are giving a tote bag to the first 10 people who send in their z’s.

It is an exciting day, Portfoliositez is officially 1 year old! This is cause for a celebration like none we’ve had before. In the past year we’ve exceeded all expectations we had on what we could accomplish. We have big plans for this upcoming year. After the V2′s we will concentrate on building out many new templates… what’s the point of being able to switch to any template down the road if there is a small selection? We have some AWESOME designs that I am so excited to build out! Well, enough about us, let’s celebrate!! :-)

DOROTHEA V2
The long awaited day has arrived! Dorothea V2 is officially launching today, stay tuned for our sample version later on today. Ordering can now be done through our new website by going to ‘order an extra’. Orders are setup on a first come first serve basis.

Please Note: We tried to keep as much database structure the same as possible, however any proofing galleries will need to be re-created since the new client system is client based rather then gallery based in structure. There are two options:
1. We upgrade your current site and the proofing galleries will need to be re-done
2. We setup the Dorothea V2 in a subfolder so your current site will remain un-affected. This would require the new site be setup from scratch, however we will keep both sites online until the proofing on the original V1 Dorothea is no longer needed.
