What is with this weather? We’ve gotten SO much snow over the course of the last two days – good thing we didn’t have to go anywere

You might find that our posts are few and far between for the next couple of weeks. I’m working away on the new template and want to devote as much time as possible getting our new generation (SO EXCITED!!) out… We don’t have a release date but will definitely announce it on the blog and twitter when we do! Also be sure to sign up for our email list (on our homepage) so that you can be sent out an email whenever we launch a new site/product or have a sale. 
Feel free to still send in images to be considered for the sample site images trade (see post below) – It’ll still be a couple weeks until we are ready to look through and select one to showcase in our new site.

COMPANY NEWS:
We have LOTS of company news which is partly why we haven’t posted in quite a while.
Company Team Members:
- Ben (our programmer) had to leave PSitez unfortunately, but we wish him the best of luck with his next job For all those following our twitter/blog you may be wondering what is happening with the new flash site that he was working on. Well, don’t worry, I am programming out the new site and am working to get it out as soon as possible which is why tweets and blog posts may be a little slow for a while. The template is our own personal Everest lol. It will be so worth it though once we start getting out our second generation templates with all the latest programming and features! We do not have a launch date at this time.
- We have a new team member! We’d like to welcome Jeff to PSitez! He will be joining our customer service team to ensure we can maintain the customer service level we think you deserve from us. What you should know about Jeff is that he is VERY accomplished and brillant – not to mention funny and friendly. He should fit in with our team nicely. Feel free to welcome him if he answers one of your questions.
- Don is going to be moving to the programming side of things with me! Don has proven to be a wonderful and valuable addition to the team and we can’t wait for him to jump into the programming next month!
New Client System
- We have a new client system in place. If you ordered after Oct 1st you are already in the system. Otherwise we are working on migrating all our clients who signed up before Oct 1st to the new system. Because of the thousands of clients who need to be moved this will be a slow process. If you aren’t in the client system yet you don’t need to worry because you still have full access to our support at http://www.portfoliositez.com/support/ .
PLEASE NOTE: When we enter you into the new client system you will be sent a welcome email with your login information for the client system. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING, this is just for your records and to let you know that you are entered
Want Your Images Featured on Our Sample Sites?
As you know we are working on getting the new site programmed out. We are looking for a couple photographers that would like to have their images featured in our sample sites. In exchange for letting us use your images you would receive:
* full credit on the sample site and any blog posts talking about the new site
* a link to your website
* a free premium service for as long as we use your images (at least one year) with template of your choice
We would not get any rights to your images other then using them on our sample site and screenshots of that sample site. You would (obviously) retain full rights and ownership over your images.
What we would need:
* 100+ images uploaded to our ftp so that we can use them for the sample galleries and section of the site
* 10-40 images from one session that we can use as a sample client gallery to showcase the proofing/cart.
If you are interested please send some sample images that represent your portfolio to info@portfoliositez.com. In the past we have received MANY entries and we only need 1-2 so please don’t feel bad if your images are not selected

This pic is of my nephew, Lochlan, when we were down on the beach and he saw a pelican. He was fine with it when it was in the ocean but when it came onto the sand he lost it – poor thing he was terrified! Had to take a photo of it though

The image is of my adopted son, Aiden, who is two and a half. After having two of our own children, we decided if our family was to grow, it would be by adoption. Just a few days after our decision, my teenage niece announced she was pregnant. After prayerful consideration, we let her know we would adopt her baby if she felt that was something that seemed like the right choice for her. Aiden came home from the hospital with us and has been a joy to our family ever since. However, that said, terrible twos are, in fact, terrible twos! My days are filled with chasing, laughing, admonishing, and loving. I took this image while camping this summer. It pretty much sums up this very loved little guy’s personality!

My entry is a photo of my granddaughter, Layla, taken on her 2nd birthday. Birthday cake, ice cream, presents, and a slip-n-slide! What more could a 2 year old ask for? I think this photo of her shows that the “Terrible Two’s” also have their blissful moments.
It is 15 minutes away from midnight so our birthday is almost over! Thank you for celebrating with us! We look forward to another year of exciting new sites, products, and LOTS of fun!
