We have re-built one of our most popular templates as a generation 2 template – Maya! Not only do you get to enjoy the same great large image interface but with the following improvements/features:
* new front-end shopping cart
* images handled differently so galleries can hold more images with less processor power
* contact page left/right justified instead of centered
* each client can have their own jukebox
* ability to upload a background image
* H.264 video support
* Password protected video galleries
* 200+ advanced settings to tweak your site even more
* IPad and Phone mirror sites available
* FULL SEO SUPPORT (generate sitemap, crawlable by google, direct links to pages within your flash site)
In our generation II templates the following is no longer supported:
* newsletter email database
* client mini sites
* multiple saved favorites per client, the favorites are now auto-save per client and require no logging in

IPad and IPhone mirror sites launched!

We have officially launched the IPad and phone mirror sites for any generation II template You can view an example mirror site by visiting http://www.portfoliositez.com/elena/ on your IPad or smartphone.
{ $20 setup fee for service clients, $40 purchase fee for individual template purchases }
IPAD MIRROR SITE
Key Features:
- The only IPad site in the industry designed specifically for the IPad. This means that it utilizes the IPad’s biggest strength which is the touchscreen interface and swipe scrolling.
- Designed with the IPad screen in mind so images are as large as possible
- It will take the information from your flash site and format it for the IPad, no need to enter information more then once
- 45+ advanced settings so you can tweak the wording, spacing, etc.
- Ability to change the colors for site and create a gradient menu bar
- Ability to upload custom logo
- Proofing (without the cart)
- Support for the video sections (as long as the videos are H.264 encoded)
IPhone / Smartphone MIRROR SITE:
Key Features:
- Phone mirror site will work on most smartphones
- Designed with the IPhone in mind
- It will take the information from your flash site and format it for the phone screen, no need to enter information more then once
- 45+ advanced settings so you can tweak the wording, spacing, etc.
- Ability to change the colors for site and create a gradient menu bar
- Ability to upload custom logo
- Proofing (without the cart)
- Support for the video sections (as long as the videos are H.264 encoded)
- Button in the sitezadmin to go through and resize versions of your images for the phone for fast loading
- Ability to choose to have images in the text sections, contact page, proofing portal, and calendar display or not.

IPad Site Sneak Peak

We are developing an IPad mirror site that can be added (for a fee) to any generation II template. If you have an IPad check out http://www.portfoliositez.com/elena/ to see what it is looking like so far We have some tweaking still to do when I get back from a family reunion (I will be back July 1st) before it is ready to be launched.
IPad site features include:
1. swipe gallery/slideshow view to utilize the touchscreen interface
2. simple proofing (clients can log into their proofing galleries to view the images, but they can’t order from the IPad site)
3. app style design with the ability to customize the gradient top/bottom bar colors
4. H.264 support for video galleries. If your videos are H.264 encoded they will show properly in this site.
5. ability to set the number if images that appear on the screen at one time in the galleries/proofing galleries.
6. ability to upload a custom logo for this site (separate then the logo uploaded to your flash site)
How does it work?
When you order the IPad and IPhone mirror sites (which will be available in about two weeks) you will see two additional sections in your sitezadmin to edit the settings for each site. Your flash content will be pulled directly into the IPad and IPhone sites. With the IPad and IPhone add-on sites you will have the following:
1. a flash site to provide computer users with the ultimate multimedia experience. This is the best possible view for the content and includes features like music, the cart, smooth transitions, elegance. etc.
2. the IPad html5 site with a non nonsense design focused on the images. This also utilizes the swipe touchscreen functionality for the most up-to-date IPad template available on the market today. It is a way for your clients to access their proofs to show friends and family fast and easily.
3. the IPhone/smartphone site to provide your basic content in a fast loading easy to navigate design. This is great for people who are looking you up to find your phone number, a quick example of images, etc.

We’d like to introduce PSitez latest template, Elena, named after Elena Wilken. Elena Wilken designed this template for us and is an amazing designer. I would recommend checking out her stuff at http://www.ewcouture.com/ .
ELENA SPECIAL FEATURES:
* upload a background for the main browser background, a background for the content area, and a background that appears as a fixed image behind the content area (great for a frame design).
* have menu on the top or bottom
* have images appear on the left or the right
* adjust more then 230 settings in the advanced settings to tweak your template into something unique
* all the regular generation II features

What we are doing…

We are busy here at PSitez! Don is currently working on programming out our next template (design by Elena Wilken) and I am working on building our an IPhone template that will be able to be added to any generation II template. We also will be working on a n IPad version that can also be added to the generation II templates. The mirror sites will be able to be added for a low fee. Lastly we are currently interviewing for an additional customer service team member to help Tammie and James out a bit.
